Beta relaxation is a phenomenon in materials science where certain polymers exhibit a secondary relaxation process at lower temperatures, typically distinct from the primary alpha relaxation. It is characterized by a slower relaxation time and is associated with the segmental motion of polymer chains. Beta relaxation can have significant effects on the mechanical and thermal properties of polymers.

How many repetitions does it take to reach an alpha state?

There is no set number of repetitions required to reach an alpha state as it can vary for each individual.
