It's different for different people. Some have lower backaches, which can vary from mild to severe. Bloating, or swelling of abdomen is also possible. Some people get cravings for certain foods. Others have mood swings or some type of emotional instability - like getting irritable easily or angering easily. There can also be tenderness in the vaginal area. If you're really sensitive down there you may also feel the flow, but that's rare.

I wouldn't say feeling the flow is rare, everyone I know can feel it. Especially when it's a rather large clot or you sneeze or cough or something.
