It is impossible to answer for every girl specifically but in general I feel that girls mainly want the same things. A girl likes to feel special, a boy should let her know that she is important to him. She also needs to be respected, listened to, and needs to feel like she can trust you.
This largely depends on who they are. Men or women are never as cut and dry as they might seem, very rarely will you be able to build some sort of list that will make your relationship successful. From my experience and observation, successful relationships will have these key concepts. First, clearly defined gender roles. If you're a man, act like a man. Go over and grab your girlfriend, make her feel desired and sexy, be exciting. Surprise her with morning sex and you really like her then ditch the casual girlfriends. Secondly, be supportive, if you're taking this to the next level then you need to be interested in this girls well being. Be there for her achievements and help her foster new ones. If she wants to volunteer at a soup kitchen, do it. If shes sick, take care of her. Finally, keep separate friends. To many people tend to develope a sort of relationship where they do the same activities together. Close but not that close. Be that guy who's loving and charming who her friends all love but don't be best pals with her friends. Oh and if youre not really rich or extremely attractive/funny then I recommend learning how to dance.
