the side affects of shrooms:: basically you just start to imagine things allot like you see things that arent there, see faces, colors seem brighter, objects are ''morphed'' you eyes become dilated, your neck gets some what stiff, but most the time you can control yourself. Its a fifty fifty chance; either your trip well or not. a good trip is good; the world is so much brighter and every thing is happy and such; a bad trip you'll be extremely fightened, and paranoid. Just do it with some one you trust. :D

I have taken mushrooms and i will tell you the effects, based on my own personal experience and the vast amount of research I've done on the subject.

Psychologically (or mentally), mushrooms can have HUGE effects. The mushroom is experience cannot really be described with words. The best way i can portray it to you is that you have never experienced anything like it before; and unless you do other psychadelics, you will never experience anything like it again. You really do go somewhere else when you trip. This makes a trip a VERY intense experience, especially if you have never tried psychadelics before. Some people can handle it, some people can't.

I tried shrooms my freshman year of college and i panicked while tripping. I have been diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder from the trip and i now get panic attacks occasionally, which i never had before the shrooms. Drugs like these can really affect you psychologically. I'm not trying to dissuade anyone from trying mushrooms. For some people, it's an amazing and unique experience, but it is not for everyone. I would like to offer a word of advice to anyone considering trying psychadelics: KNOW WHAT YOU'RE GETTING INTO, AND BE SURE YOU WANT TO GET INTO IT.

My husband took shrooms for the first time, and he is having a hard time concentrating, short-term memory loss, and headaches. He said he feels like he has a slight hangover everyday. He is also still seeing tracers. He did the shrooms around six weeks ago. Has anyone else experienced this? He would really like to know how long this may last. I did read a blog where someone else had these same effects, but everyone that answered kept blaming it on everything except the shrooms. My husbands effects started the day after he did the shrooms, and have not let up yet.

it depends on the dose and your toleerance to it. For example if you take 1 gram and your new to it youll get a heavy body high with mild visuals.Lights will seem waaay brighter and your head will feel like it weighs 20 pounds.objectswill look like its breathing too. If you take an eighth of an o which is pretty standard you will definitly see stuff moving like breathing and sounds will sound distorted.that trip will last you like 6-10 hours inclusing the come up the climax and the comedowd, which sucks cus youll feel f-ing tired the next day.i recomend ecstacy or lsd.Mushies taste like s**t.no good.

potential distortion of reality/paranoia resulting in the use of a totem to distinguish the reality whilst tripping (dream world) and the true reality (real life.)
