Cocaine increases your risk of a heart attack 24-fold, it shrinks the blood vessels and strains the heart BIG time, there have been perfectly healthy athletic individuals who have died on their first line of cocaine.

That aside, many factors are at play here, first being the purity of the product, 90% of cocaine being sold at street level has been cut several times prior to making it to your nose, you can never trust the appearence of the powder as many things imitate the look, so called "fish-scale" appearence means nothing as many adulterants can still hold this property, the numbing affect is also redundant as there are hundreds of over the counter medicines that do the same thing without getting you high (ex: benzocaine). You can never be sure of what you're snorting unless you're a chemical engineer who could analyze it, so the risk here is involved with possible deadly cuts to your product. Second factor is you, how healthy you are, what your sensitivity is to cocaine, bodyweight, etc. If you have any anxiety related problems (panic attacks for example) your setting yourself up for heart problems. Lastly would be if you are mixing the cocaine with other intoxicants, for example, combining cocaine and alcohol further puts strain on the heart and liver function, it also creates a new drug Cocaethylene, which is in itself a health concern.

To better answer your question, your chances of dying from cocaine are significantly (dangerously) higher than not doing it at all.
