Simply put, depressants slow your body down, while stimulants speed your body up. Depressants slow your heart rate, breathing and brain activity, and make you relaxed and sleepy, while stimulants increase your heart rate, breathing and brain activity, and make you hyperactive. Drug users frequently take stimulants and opiates at the same time. They have a synergistic effect. You may have heard the term "speedball" before. A speedball is a combination of cocaine and heroin that is usually injected but can be smoked or insufflated. When you combine coke and heroin you feel the clean energy of cocaine and the warm euphoria of heroin - many think that this is the ultimate high. Other stimulants besides cocaine, such as adderall, can be used of course, but the mix of smack and blow are the gold standard. Personally I stay far away from speedballing, because it is incredibly addicting and incredibly easy to overdose. John Belushi and River Phoenix both died from speedballing. With that said, if you're looking to potentiate opiates you can take a small dose (I take 10-15 mg) of amphetamine orally about half an hour before taking opiates. I have found this to be safe for me, but everyone's body chemistry is different - know yourself before you start mixing.
Because it is commonly combined with stimulants such as caffeine and meth. Not all however are stimulants. People refer to some ecstasy as being "smacky" as in heroine or codeine was used (depressants) instead of the more common stimulants.
It will have to be LSD. Or possibly alcohol?
Drugs are defined as any substance that alters normal body function. Non-psychotropic drugs include pain relievers (such as paracetamol or ibuprofen), calcium carbonate (such as TUMS), and many more. Psychotropic drugs effect the mental state of users. There are three most common psychotropic drug categories: stimulants, depressants, and hallucinogens. Stimulants increase brain activity and heart activity, leading to increased mental focus and memory making the user feel more alert while also making physical tasks less tiring. Stimulants range in strength, caffeine being a mild stimulant and methamphetamine being a strong stimulant. Nicotine, in cigarettes is also a stimulant. Depressants decrease brain activity and heart activity, leading to shortened attention span and drowsiness. Depressants include alcohol, opiates, and barbiturates. Some depressants bring euphoria. Hallucinogens act on certain receptors within the brain altering perception. Most hallucinogens combine with a stimulant (as in the case of MDMA) or a depressant (marijuana), and cause varying degrees from small visual hallucinations to complete disconnection from reality. Marijuana, ecstasy, salvia, and peyote are all examples of hallucinogens.
Since anti depressants take a week or two to become effective, taking an oral dose (a pill) is the common way to take anti depressants. Or at least, I assume that you meant antidepressants.
The three main types of drugs are stimulants, depressants, and hallucinogens. Stimulants, such as caffeine and cocaine, increase alertness and elevate mood. Depressants, like alcohol and opioids, slow down brain activity and induce relaxation. Hallucinogens, including LSD and psilocybin mushrooms, alter perception and can cause hallucinations.
There are a great deal of stimulant drugs. Some common stimulants include things ranging from caffeine all the way to cocaine. Stimulants are usually involved with drugs that are considered uppers.

There are many common cures for anti anxiety disorder. These include, but are not strictly limited to, taking drugs that help with it, and taking anti depressants.
Many depressants do have medical applications, and so many of them are not outright illegal but rather "controlled substances", so they're illegal if you don't have a prescription. An outright illegal depressant is heroin. However, other opiates are legal with a prescription, like morphine, codeine, oxycodone, and hydromorphone. Other common depressants legal only with a prescription are: a) Anti-anxiety medications known as benzodiazepines such as Attivan (TM) and Valium (TM) b) Barbiturates, commonly prescribed for those with extreme migraines, examples are Fiorinal (TM), Fioricet (TM) and Luminal (TM) c) Any medication prescribed as a sleep aid The complete list of depressants is quite extensive, almost all of them have some sort of medical application which doesn't make them outright illegal, except heroin, which is illegal in most countries.
Common types of depressants include alcohol, benzodiazepines (e.g. Xanax, Valium), barbiturates, and opioids (e.g. heroin, morphine). These substances act by slowing down the central nervous system, leading to relaxation, sedation, and reduced brain activity. Misuse of depressants can result in addiction, respiratory depression, and overdose.
