Yes, I fully believe that 13 year olds should be allowed to leave the house. I do not believe that they should be forming romantic attachments at such a young age. It distracts them from school work and gets them into situations they are not ready for yet.
well, you know. it;s only one year from being fourteen, when a lot of kids start dating anyways, so i don't see how a one year difference is going to change anything. just be safe and careful. Dating at 14 and 15 is not really a good idea either. Probably 16 is more appropriate, and even then it needs to be monitored. Any sexual contact prior to the age of 16 can be a crime in most states.
