Put rubbing alcohol on the infection every day about twice a day.
Irritation is normal. That includes redness, itching, swelling. I think that you mean infection . Infection is more serious and signs are discoloration, swelling, itching that lasts more than 2-3 . Also, if there is yellow/green drainage from your piercing. Go check in with your piercer if you think that your piercing may be infected.
There is no such thing as "a little infected". It's one or the other but not a little. You need to be on a routine of good oral hygiene and not a little here a little there. If you are getting discharge from the piercing and it's greenish and the tongue is swelling and sore get your butt into the hospital or clinic right now. MRSA is a very hard to fight bacterial infection that can be deadly if left untreated. You don't goof with piercings and piercing health. See your Doctor if you think you have an infection in your tongue piercing.
I think that body piercing should not be banned because it's YOUR choice and anyone should have the right to express their selves.
You can do whatever you want of course, but do be aware that that's a particularly difficult one to keep from infection. Many people (even people who have successfully gotten many other piercings) have trouble. So it's not a good "starter piercing." That being said, any piercing will be fine if done well by a good piercer and well taken care of.
I don't think so, I think he had to take it out. Its quite a shame though. lol Well, I think he was getting an infection with the lip ring. But I'm not sure about his ears.
So you think your piercing is infected, well here are some of the signs of and infection. Signs of an infection: * Sore to the touch. * Excessive redness around the jewellery. * Distention or swelling around the piercing. * Painful when moving the jewellery. * Discharge of green bloody puss during movement of jewellery. http://www.pacificbodyjewellery.com/aftercare/infected_piercing.htm Hit the above link for detailed information
Nerve damage, excessive bleeding due to hitting a vein, blood infection, blood poisoning, Staph infection......... I could go on but I think you get the point here, the human body is not a pin cushion, however when you get a piercing from a professional body piercer you will have a piercing that will heal and look good for a long time without the grief of botching your eyebrow piercing and doing a whole lot more damage than you were counting on. Leave the piercing to the professionals.
I dont think that would be the safest thing to do, its a read flag for infection
some places offer clear studs. these make your piercing nearly invisible if its inserted right. but no matter what you will still be able to see it a little bit, but clear stud i think is the best solution.
You have an infection and the only way to clear it is go to the doctor. A dog's tongue is full of bacteria ( think about where they lick and what they eat) so you have gotten something from doing this. Not smart.
I should think that ear piercing is the least painful
