yes. having a bowl movement is always safe. its a good thing. having a bowl movement rids the body of waste. you should go 5 to 10 times a week. if constipated follow the directions of a laxative. if you have diarrhea drink a lot of clear liquids and stay hydrated. if either lasts longer than 5 days see your doctor.
This is not considered normal. It is not sanitary nor is it safe to do such a thing. It is better to do it in the toilet.
