These medications must be considered habit-forming. These are the main criteria that a med must fit into in order to be placed as a Scheduled 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 medication. All non-addictive medications are not placed in a Scheduled category. While Feldene is used for pain, it is chemically different than other pain pills like oxycodone or morphine (both are scheduled 2 meds). That is why Feldene does not meet the requirements.
