When taking fluconazole, which is for treating fungal infections, nausea is a common adverse reaction. Unfortunately, it may remain until you are finished taking the med. I suggest starting an anti-nausea regimine so you don't feel so bad.... Even with the nausea, you definitely should NOT stop taking the fluconazole or your condition may worsen -- it can be very difficult to get rid of a fungal infection. I suggest that you call your doctor for a prescription for an anti-nausea agent, or of course you may pick up something over the counter....this particular drug (fluconazole) has adverse reactions with certain drugs like warfarin (blood thinner), and benzodiazepines (anti-anxiety meds), certain anti-depressants, and some hypoglycemic agents. Looking at the Davis Drug guide, I do not see any indications that an anti-nausea agent will hurt you....you can just ask the pharmacist to be sure.
can you drink after you have taking a tablet of 150mg fluconazole
dooes drinkning alcholic beverages reduce strengths of fluconazole
Yes. Fluconazole does not have any effect on menstruation. It does, however, interact with some medications, so make sure to check with your doctor.
Fluconazole 150mg can reduce the efficiency of hormonal birth control pills. You should speak with you doctor to find out whether you should practice an alternate method of birth control.
yes iam
It really depends on how long you have been taking it. 150mg is a rather low dosage, and if you have been taking it for a rather short period of time, tapering it off would not be necessary. However, if you have been taking it for a long period of time, it would likely be decreased gradually over a 1-2 week period.
6mg pills have to take to total 150mg.
