She will need to know about the timing of sex and her menstrual cycle, how to handle an overly aggressive male, and cleanliness and hygiene. She needs to know what she can expect during her very first time, how to decide when, where, and with whom, and how to say no until she is sure she is ready. Understanding does not just come from osmosis and a lot of misinformation is traded among young girls who think they know things they really don't.
