I have been inhaling Advair for over ten years. Started in 2001. It has risen in price about 2% every year. About $1.50 per suck. Yes it works but when does it become a generic drug? Right now it is 10 times as expensive as Gold! Surely all its research costs have been met twenty times over by now!

Yes you can been doing it for years
Yes Advair has a steoid in it
Advair does have a steroid in it. Advair contains fluticasone which is a steroid. The other active ingredient in Advair is salmeterol. Salmeterol acts as a bronchodilator and opens up the breathing airways.
Since 1903
I have noticed a dramatic change in how much hair I have been losing since I have been on Advair. I mentioned it to my allergist and of course, it is not listed in the prescribing information, so he said it could not be a side effect. I think differently. I also have had a problem with bruising easily, which I was told usually only happens to people in their sixties. I have a hard time believing that I am othe only one out there with these problems. Anyone else noticing hair loss and bruising while on the advair diskus? Yea i experienced full hair loss over the years. Even though my doctor claimed it had nothing to do with but i disagree. I'm so mad as well. its like why did they allow this to happen? Arent there any other treatments for asthma out there. Ugh i hate being BALD! I've been on Advair for about 9 months and started noticing hair loss (alopecia) about 2 months after I started advair. It is now getting worse and was wondering if it was advair as well.
since 2007.

No, ProAir is a bronchodilator, a quick-relief medicine used when you have asthma flare-up, and AdvAir is a corticosteroid, a long-term control medicine for asthma. They are not the same medicine.
According to my children, "Too long".
They have been on the market for many, many years and have been proven to workhorses when it comes to business printing. They are very well built and can handle heavy work loads for long periods of time.
Accutane has been on the market, and out of phase 3 trials, for years now.
