My step brother kneeled down on a needle once, It was a big needle that went about 2 inches into his knee. I think that if you get a needle in your skin and its not deep then just pull it out yourself. If its deep and you think you need medical attention then go straight to the local emergency room or contact your doctor immediately!
Some does and don'ts before you undergo a thyroid fine needle biopsy and blood test are: do ask questions, don't go alone, do expect discomfort, don't expect quick results, and do take good care of yourself before and after the biopsy.
a 25 Gauge needle is capable of drawing blood, but i would go with 21 or 23 for withdrawing lots of blood simply because the 25 gauge could get clogged..
Find a vain use a clean needle go in at a angle.
Dude, they have to take blood out of your penis with a needle.. Go to your doctor, you can become blind with not enough blood to your eyes, i am serious.
Yes, this is possible. Because needles are used to pierce the skin, they will come in contact with someone (possibly an HIV infected person) else's blood. Then if you stick yourself with that needle, it will in turn come into contact with your own blood. This mixing of blood will contaminate the clean blood and you will become infected with the disease. To put your mind at ease and for your own health and safety, it would be wise to go to your doctor and request an HIV test.
