"oxycodone" is sometimes classified as an opiate, but its truly and opioid. Simple 5 or 6 panel drug tests DO NOT test for oxycodone and therefore, will not yield a positive result in the "opiate" section of the screen. However, a 10 or 12 panel drug test (depending on the brand) does specifically test for oxycodone, so if in your system, it will show a positive result in the section labeled "oxy"
