No this is not recommended at all. Shrooms can cause a great deal of anxiety even if you have a very clean and happy experience. Anti-depressants can exacerbate this anxiety to very profound levels. This can cause the user to become extremely paranoid and anxious and lead to a trip to the hospital. If you're going to trip shrooms, don't take the anti-depressants. Also, if you are being prescribed anti-depressants you should steer clear of hallucinogenics because they temporarily alter your brain chemistry and can lead to depression or the "blues" for a few days after the trip (from first hand experience multiple times). If you're already depressed it will only be worse. Please be nice to your brain. (From an experienced tripper and microbiology student)
You don't take depressants. You take anti-depressants, which counters being depressed.
Since anti depressants take a week or two to become effective, taking an oral dose (a pill) is the common way to take anti depressants. Or at least, I assume that you meant antidepressants.

Too much of anything can be toxic or have adverse symptoms. Anti-Depressants have different classes for their mechanisms, so its too vague when you mentioned anti-depressants in general.

Anti-depressants are named for their ability to treat depression (anti-depression). But in order for these medications to work, they typically decrease or "depress" the ability of the central nervous system (CNS) to respond to stimuli. For that reason, "depressants" are used as anti-depressants.
Doctors usually can proscribe anti depressants and other medications because you can't get those over the counter.
Catholics are encouraged to lead healthy, fulfilling, lives filled with grace. If you suffer from depression and your doctor prescribes anti-depressants then you should take them as they will help you lead a healthy life. While some medical procedures and drugs are prohibited for Catholics (e.g. abortion or contraception), anti-depressants are allowed.
You won't gain weight if you do cardio for 30 mins 3-7 times a week. If not than yes you will, and if you have the option to workout and not take anti depressants than work out. Needless to say, if you require it than take the pills and workout.
