Can you get high off of eating heroin?

Yes you can, but since your stomach converts most of the heroin into morphine before its absoprbed into the bloodstream, its less effective. The dosage is similar to oral morphine, and its the safest way to take heroin. The high will take longer to start (20 to 45 minutes). Start with the amount you would normally snort and work upwards. (If you've never used heroin, mix 10 milligrams in with something strong tasting and drink it, if you don't feel any effects after 90 minutes, drink another 10 milligrams. 10 milligrams is a very small amount, make sure you don't use to much, you could die)

Yeah on the come down you can get pretty hungry. Not like weed but you'll get heroin munchies. It could very well be the fact that you probably haven't ate the whole time while you were high as hell, but who knows.
