Regarding whether marijuana is addictive or not, it is not known to be chemically addictive, but that does not mean it is not addictive. In the laboratory of popular experience, many people are indeed addicted to marijuana psychologically. Great numbers of people smoke marijuana regularly, even daily, have done so for long periods of time, and have been unable to quit. This is addiction. Keep in mind that the chemical cycle of addiction for nicotine runs its course in a matter of days, certainly within weeks, yet smoking tobacco is obviously addictive. People have great difficulty quitting marijuana, so it is misleading to suggest that marijuana is not addictive, especially with so many chronic users. The laboratory of popular experience tells this is the case.

The answer given below this paragraph is based upon personal opinion. However, I am not writing over it since everyone's voice deserves to be heard. Never-the-less, THC is not, in and of itself, particularly addictive. Cannabis ranks under caffeine on the addiction scale, way below nicotine or alcohol. Behavior patterns, on the other hand, can become habitual, and some habits can be difficult (though not impossible) to break. So it would be fair to say that one can become habituated to cannabis. However, the quantity of THC in cannabis is irrelevant.

"You can be addicted to marijuana just as one would be addicted to alcohol, tobacco, etc. The only reason that most think you can't is because(and this is just what I have learned)from the 90s, into the 2000s, marijuana has had more than a 15% increase in THC content. Simply because gardeners have had a sucess in growing cross-breeds that give off the high yield plus potent flowers. SO FROM THIS POINT ON, IN GENERAL, ANY PERSON WHO THINKS MARIJUANA CAN'T KEEP YOU HOOKED, YOU ARE HEAVELY MISTAKEN."
Become addicted to marijuana yourself.
The arguments for marijuana being physically addictive are very weak at best. The more probable explanation is that people can become psychologically addicted and think they need it. Unlike physical addiction, marijuana has no "come down" or withdrawal symptoms.
Marijuana is not addictive.
Marijuana is a non-addictive substance. If someone is "addicted" to it, then they should check it for small white crystals. You can't be addicted to marijuana, but you can be addicted to cocaine. Some dealers "lace" their marijuana with cocaine to make it stronger. If there are no crystals and you still feel addicted, then its a mental addiction. With less use it will go away
There is nothing in marijuana that makes you physically addicted to it. You can only be mentally addicted to it, but that also applies for about anything. Ex. Food, sex, videogames.
There is no nicotine in Marijuana, nicotine is in cigarettes.
If you try marijuana once, you are most likely to be addicted
There are none, the only way to get addicted to marijuana is mentally .
0.Marijuana is a non-addictive substance.
yes ... you can also get addicted to cake
People don't. It's a common misconception that someone may think they're addicted. A person with very low self will may use the excuse of being addicted, but it's a fact that Marijuana is non addictive.
1) Marijuana is Non-addictive 2) Just Stop Smoking it
