It depends, if you're a daily user than yes it will, but if its one hit of weed and you havent smoked in months or years than it won't show up. I know from experience. If you take a huge hit and hold it in for a long time than it may stay in your system for 1-2 days, but other than that no.
As an analytical chemist, I agree with the previous answer. One hit done by a person who is not a regular user will probably not show up. Drug tests are not as sensitive as you would think, and one hit is going to be very hard to detect.

Yes, its actually more detectable if you only use it once, it will more then likely stay in your system for a month, repeat users usually only have it in they're system for 2 weeks, but that usually doesnt matter since its a daily thing
It depends the span of time between smoking and testing. For heavy users THC can be detectable in the urine for up to a month, and in hair for up to 3 months. However if you never used before (or haven't used in a long time) and really only had one hit, it will probably be undetectable within a few days or so. Just to be on the safe side, make sure to drink a LOT of water (at least half a gallon a day) the day before and day of your drug test and you should be fine.
Weed is still "marijuana" which can be detected regardless of it being legal or illegal because even though it is illegal, patients can still have it prescribed to them and if they are tested for drugs then marijuana will show up.
THC is one of the numerous cannabinoid chemicals present in
marijuana as well as the primary psychoactive ingredient. Cannabinoid metabolites appear in urine within two to four hours
after smoking marijuana and may persist up to 30 days (at the 50
ng/mL cut-off concentration) depending upon a person's previous
pattern of abuse. In general, infrequent use of marijuana may only
be detected for 1-3 days after use. Regular use, several times
per week, may be detected for 7-10 days, while chronic use of
marijuana may be detectable for up to 30 days. Routine passive
inhalation to marijuana will not cause a positive urine drug test
for THC at a 50 ng/mL screening cut-off concentration.
This is straight copy and paste from Redwood Toxicology website. This is who my probation dept. uses for drug screening.
Sure it can. This is the most easily detected drug and also it stays very long in your system.
No. Marijuana stays in your system for a long time. A rule of thumb is 4 to 6 weeks but thus depends on your gender, metabolism and fat percentage, among other things.
