It can do, because sometimes the catarrh runs down the back of your throat from your nose (post-nasal drip). Sometimes, you may swallow it rather than cough it up. If this happens, it can irritate your stomach and cause nausea (feeling sick). And, hayfever can cause a general sense of feeling unwell, which may also cause nausea.
