Histamine is released when tissues become damaged, inflamed, or are the subject of an allergic reaction. Histamine is involved in a myriad of physiological conditions.

Its supposedly taken for allergies and related anti inflammatory stuff. But if one searches for a little "evidence" all one comes up with is pseudo science and anecdotes. Most of the references are links to places selling the product containing Yakriton, derived from beef liver fat. Its been around for a while, sold mostly by alternative health professionals. Until there's some more substance to the claims, I'll pass.
How many antronex pills can you take?
When I first started taking it & my allergies were out of control, I took 18/day for 2-4 weeks (per my doctor's recommendation). After I noticed my allergies were under control (actually feeling allergy free), I went to 6/day. I still take 6/day 6 yrs later! If I happen to be out for a while and don't buy any (because the allergies take a while to come back), I will again dose up for a few weeks. I haven't needed 18/day since I first got one them because my histamine levels are better now since I keep them in check by taking it regularly.
