Where to go after team aqua hideout?

Go to the old man sailor port, then he will sail to kanto, in kanto you will met gary battle em and go to mt moo. Catch a lugia then go to prof oak show him your pokedex then he will gave you kanto starter again this is for any game

go south of mossdeep to route 127 and make sure your east of sootpolis and look for a dive spot then swim around underwater until you find a cave. enter it then resurface.

Depends on where you are in the game. When you defeat Team Aqua at Mt. Pyre, which is south of the route right next to Lilycove, you need to follow them to the docks in Slateport, and see the cutscene there. Then you can enter their hideout, which is right inside Lilycove in the east side. You need to surf up to it. After you clear that place, you need to defeat the gym leaders in Mossdeep and get Dive from Steven. He is in one of the houses in Mossdeep. Then you can go and find where they are hiding underwater, which is pretty hard to find if you haven't played the game. If you can find Sootopolis, just surf around southeast of there, and you should find it eventually. It is hard to tell where it is without knowing exactly which square of the map it is in.
