b/c he was getting weird dreams (from his future self) that "told" him if he stayed with Serena/Usagi/Sailor Moon she would die. So he broke up with her to stop her from dieing, he still loved her.
Serena (Usagi Tsukino) and Darien (Mamoru Chiba) are not actually seen getting married in the animated series.
In the second part of the Sailor Moon R arc, Darien has nightmares of him and Serena getting married, but Serena appears to die before the ceremony is complete. This prompts him to break up with Serena, believing that their relationship will put her in danger.
In the final arc of the Sailor Moon animated series, Sailor Moon Sailor Stars (which was never dubbed into English) Mamoru proposes to Usagi by giving her a ring shortly before he departs for study abroad in the United States. Not long after he departs, Sailor Galaxia attacks the plane he is on and takes his Star Seed, the Golden Crystal. In the final episode, they are reunited and kiss under the backdrop of a full moon, but Usagi's voiceover indicates she is still just 16 years old. There is no indication of them getting married any time soon.
These events are mostly the same in the manga, except Galaxia takes Mamoru's Star Seed before he even gets on the plane. Usagi faints after seeing Mamoru disappear, and is saved by the Three Lights. Later, she is reunited with Mamoru, and in the final chapter of the manga, Usagi--now Neo-Queen Serenity--is shown marrying Mamoru in Crystal Tokyo.

The most popular Sailor Senshi [Scout] depends on when the poll was conducted and where. For example, polls conducted during Sailor Moon's first run in Japan showed Sailor Mercury/Ami Mizuno as the most popular Sailor Senshi, but as additional Senshi were introduced, positions in the poll changed. Many times, the popularity poll results were shown in a color pull-out poster featured in the magazines or tankoubon in which Sailor Moon was run; these posters can also be found in many of the Sailor Moon art books.

While some of the events and timing are the same, the dub:Specifically stated that the Silver Millennium was "1000 years ago," and was a thousand years of harmony throughout the universe; the Japanese anime and manga never specified when the Silver Millennium was, or that it was actually a true "Millennium" at all; "Silver Millennium" instead was the name of the Moon Kingdom and those who served it.Implied that time went on unchanged after the battle with Queen Beryl; in the original Japanese animation, there was an unspoken "reset" which allowed the Senshi to start their year over again.Where possible, differences between the English dub and the original Japanese and/or the manga have been listed in square brackets.2000 Years Ago (About 8 BC)The Silver Millennium, one thousand years of peace and harmony for the entire universe [possibly not so expansive; the Japanese may have mentioned the solar system, or the galaxy, but this is doubtful. Information from Season Five indicates that the entire galaxy was not peaceful, even thousands of years ago] begins.1000 Years Ago (About 992 BC)With the help of the Negaforce [Queen Metallia], Queen Beryl breaks free of the Negaverse [Dark Kingdom] and launches an assault on the planet Earth and the Moon Kingdom. Queen Beryl's four generals, Jedite [Jadeite], Neflite/Nephlite [Nephrite], Zoycite [Zoisite], and Malachite [Kunzite] lead her armies to victory and destroy the kingdom. Many members of the royal court are killed, including Princess Serena/Serenity, Prince Darien/Endymion, Sailor Mercury, Sailor Mars, Sailor Venus, and Sailor Jupiter.Queen Serenity manages to seal the Seven Shadow Warriors [Seven Great Youma] within the Silver Crystal.Queen Serenity also uses the power of the Silver Crystal and the Crescent Moon Wand [Moon Stick] to seal away the invaders for one thousand years.Using the last of her strength, Queen Serenity sends her daughter, Prince Darien/Endymion, and the Sailor Scouts [Senshi] into the future, to be reborn as humans. She also sends Luna and Artemis into the future via cryogenic capsules to act as the Sailor's mentors.Queen Serenity dies. The Silver Crystal shatters into the seven Rainbow Crystals, each one with a Shadow Warrior/Great Youma inside. They are reborn into different humans on Earth, living at the same time as Serena/Usagi and her friends.[Note: in the original Japanese anime, it is not stated just where Beryl came from, but it is said that she got her power from suspicious, new dark sunspots. With the new dark power Beryl acquired, she incited Earth citizens to rally against the Moon Kingdom, because they were longer-lived than Earth-born humans, and the people of Earth wanted the Moon Kingdom's secret to longevity. In the manga, Beryl used to be a member of Endymion's Earth court, and was driven mad with jealousy when she discovered Endymion and Serenity's tryst. Queen Metallia, the dark power from the sunspots, still allowed her to attack both the Earth and the Moon, as well as alter Endymion's own bodyguards (Jadeite, Nephrite, Zoisite, and Kunzite) into servants for the Dark Kingdom. The Dark Kingdom was not an actual "place" until Queen Serenity sealed Beryl, Metallia and the other creatures with them away; there was no fixed "time limit" on her seal, but the creatures of the Dark Kingdom eventually penetrated it, leading to the events of the first season.]1974August 3: Birth of Darien Shields [Mamoru Chiba] to unnamed parents. 1975October 29: Birth of Trista Meioh [Setsuna Meioh] to unnamed parents. [Note: this assumes that Trista/Setsuna was actually reborn after the events of Sailor Moon S, and was given a complete human identity, with parents, a past, and so forth. It is equally possible that, after her rebirth, she crafted her own human identity for herself, complete with a birthday. However, her age is never explicitly stated, so her birth year here is only a guess. It is known that she is older than the other Senshi, being a university student, but also because in the Snow Princess Kaguya arc of the manga, she was able to buy alcohol, something you have to be age 20 or higher to do in Japan. In the manga, she died after the events of the second arc, equivalent to Part 2 of Sailor Moon R in the anime.Furthermore, since it is said that someone must guard the Space-Time Door at all times, but that Pluto was permitted to leave by Neo-Queen Serenity in order to assist in the events of Sailor Moon S, it is possible that Pluto can exist at multiple points in Space-Time, and Setsuna Meioh is merely her human identity.]1978January 27: Birth of Amara Tenoh [Haruka Ten'ou] to unnamed parents.March 6: Birth of Michelle Kaioh [Michiru Kaiou] to unnamed parents.April 17: Birth of Raye Hino [Rei Hino] to unnamed parents. Her father is is an important politician in the Japanese parliament, while her mother died of an unnamed illness.June 30: Birth of Serena Tsukino [Usagi Tsukino] to Kenji and Ikuko Tsukino.September 10: Birth of Amy Anderson [Ami Mizuno] to Saeko Mizuno and an unnamed father. [Note: her mother was named in the live action, but never in the manga or the anime, where she was only seen on occasion.]October 22: Birth of Mina Aino [Minako Aino] to unnamed parents.December 5: Birth of Lita Kino [Makoto Kino] to unnamed parents. Makoto's parents in the manga are stated to have died in a plane crash, resulting in her fear of airplanes. However, what happened to her parents is not stated in the anime, and she has no apparent fear of planes or flying in Season 5.1979January 1: Birth of Molly Baker [Naru Osaka] to unnamed parents. We meet Naru's mother, the owner of the OSA-P jewelry store, on a few occasions in the anime and manga, notably in the very first episode/arc. In episode 14, Naru says she's an only child, but in the manga, a side-story reveals she has a younger sister, Naruru, who attends elementary school with Chibiusa. Naru's father is never shown.February 8: Birth of Yaten Kou to unknown parents.May 30: Birth of Taiki Kou to unknown parents.July 30: Birth of Seiya Kou to unknown parents.[Note: when the Sailor Starlights/Three Lights are introduced, their names are introduced in the "Western" format, with their given name first, and their surname/family name last. This is likely because, despite the Japanese-sounding pronunciation of their names, they are foreigners (they are not trying to appear as Japanese), and unless they use the surname-first format of introductions in that foreign location (which turns out to be another planet where they might not even use aliases), they are introduced with given name first. However, the similarity of surnames does not indicate that the Three Lights are related in any way; no one assumed or even asked if the Lights were related in any point in the Sailor Moon canon. If anything, it's probably assumed that the surnames are fake, or are a "coincidence" that brought them together to form the "Three Lights," since the name is a pun on their shared surnames.]1980Darien Shields [Mamoru Chiba] is seriously injured in a car accident that leaves him orphaned and with amnesia. The alien Fiore arrives on Earth and becomes friends with Darien [Mamoru].Sammy [Shingo] Tsukino, Serena [Usagi]'s younger brother, is born to Ikuko and Kenji Tsukino.Serena [Usagi] and Darien [Mamoru] meet for the first time in the hospital; Serena gives Darien a rose from the bouquet for her mother, to commemorate her brother's birth.1981January 6: Hotaru Tomoe is born to Prof. Souichi Tomoe and Keiko Tomoe. 1991Mina [Minako] Aino first meets Artemis, who gives her a transformation pen so she can investigate the Dark Kingdom as Sailor Venus, codenamed "Sailor V." 1992Late MarchThe forces of the Negaverse [Dark Kingdom] make their first appearance on Earth since the Silver Millennium. The seal they broke through originates at D-Point, in the North Pole. A further point of entry connects D-Point to Japan via a trans-dimensional portal that Sailor Venus later discovers.Serena [Usagi] and her friends enter grade 8 (Year 2 of Junior High) at Crossroads Junior High/Juuban Junior High. The [first?] Sailor V video game is released at the Crown Game Center.Serena [Usagi] first transforms into Sailor Moon.Tuxedo Mask arrives to help Sailor Moon.AprilThe events from English dub episodes 3-5 occur, including Amy Anderson [Ami Mizuno]'s first transformation into Sailor Mercury.MayThe events from English dub episodes 6-10 occur, including Raye [Rei] Hino's first transformation into Sailor Mars, and Queen Beryl's punishment of Jedite [Jadeite] for failing to defeat the Sailor Scouts [Senshi]. JuneThe events from English dub episodes 11-14 occur.Though it is never explicitly mentioned, Serena [Usagi] would have turned 15 on the 30th of this month.JulyThe events from English dub episodes 15-17 (up to Japanese episode 21; Japanese episode 20 was never dubbed into English) occur. AugustThe events from English dub episodes 18-22 occur, including the death of Neflite [Nephrite] at the hands of Zoycite [Zoisite]'s youma and Lita [Makoto] Kino's first transformation into Sailor Jupiter.Though it is never explicitly mentioned, Darien [Mamoru] would have turned 18 here. That age/the birth year 1974 is based off the assumption that he was age 18 during 1992, during Sailor Moon's first season. In the anime, however, is is likely older, considering he drove a car (something you have to already be 18 to do in Japan), had a job, and was already in university. In the manga, he is about this age, and is shown still attending high school in the first arc.SeptemberThe events from English dub episodes 23-27 occur.Though it is never explicitly mentioned, Amy [Ami] would have turned 15 on the 10th of this month.OctoberEvents from English dub episodes 28 and 29 occur, including Mina [Minako] Aino's first appearance as Sailor Venus.Events from English dub episode 30 occur, including the revelation that Sailor Moon is actually Princess Serena [Serenity], the Moon Princess that Luna and the Sailor Scouts [Senshi] have been searching for, as well as the re-combination of the seven Rainbow Crystals to form the Silver Crystal.Events from English dub episode 31 occur, including Zoycite [Zoisite]'s death at the hands of Queen Beryl for disobeying orders.Though it is never explicitly mentioned, Mina [Minako] would have turned 15 on the 22nd of this month.NovemberThe events from English dub episodes 32-34 occur. DecemberThe events from English dub episodes 35-37 and Japanese episodes up to 42 occur.Though it is not explicitly stated, Lita [Makoto] would have turned 15 on the 5th of this month.1993 (1992 v.2)JanuaryThe events from English dub episodes 38-39 occur, including the death of Malachite [Kunzite] in a battle with the Sailor Scouts [Senshi], when Sailor Moon deflects his own energy weapons back at him.The events from English dub episode 40 (a combination of Japanese episodes 45 and 46) occur, including: The first use of Sailor TeleportThe deaths of the Sailors Jupiter, Mercury, Venus, and Mars at the hands of the Doom and Gloom Girls [DD Girls]The death of Prince Darien [Endymion] while protecting Sailor MoonThe re-sealing [destruction] of Queen Beryl and the Negaforce [Queen Metallia].In this final battle, Princess Serenity dies from exhaustion, having put forth all her energy into the Silver Crystal, but is reborn with the other Sailor Senshi and Mamoru when she wishes on the Crystal. This results in a time reset where their bodies are restored, but their memories of the past year (or more, in the case of Minako) are erased. This also implies that the memories of others around the world may have also been erased or otherwise altered, such as those of Ryo Urawa, Minako's friend Katrina, and so forth. In the dub, Princess Serena survives, but has her memories erased. However, the Scouts and Prince Darien are reborn, and time continues without reset or interruption, implied by Serena "meeting" Darien again in a hospital, stating he was in a really bad accident, and the aliens Alan and Ann saying that they heard about Earth being a ripe source for energy from Queen Beryl.Late MarchIn the dub timeline, the Sailor Scouts enter grade 8 again, implied by the fact that Serena is still taught by Ms. Haruna, rather than a new teacher, as she would be if she had moved up to the final year of Junior High, Grade 9 (Year 3 in Japanese junior high). In the original Japanese, they get to do over the year 1992, which effectively means the events of the first season never happened. The events from the English dub episodes 41-44 occur, including the arrival of aliens Alan and Ann [Ail and An, who use the aliases Seijurou and Natsumi Ginga], who aim to steal energy from humans in order to fuel the growth of their roaming home, the Doom Tree [Makaiju], and the re-awakening of Sailor Moon and the other Scouts [Senshi].AprilThe events from English dub episode 45 occur, including Sailor Moon powering up. She receives the Silver Crystal again from Queen Serenity, along with the Cutie Moon Rod, a new weapon. She gains a new transformation phrase and sequence (Moon Crystal Power, Make Up) and attack (Moon Princess Halation/Moon Scepter Elimination). The events from English dub episode 46 occur, including Sailor Venus powering up. She gains a new attack that is only seen in this episode, "Venus Meteor Shower [Crescent Beam Shower]."The events from English dub episode 47 occur, including Sailor Mercury powering up. She gains a new attack, "Mercury Ice Bubbles Freeze [Shabon Spray Freezing]."Though it is not explicitly mentioned, Raye would have turned 16 on the 17th of this month. Because this would have meant Raye had entered high school, this implies that the dub actually did reset time somewhat and selectively erased/restored memories after the battle with Queen Beryl. In the original Japanese timeline, or in the re-done timeline, Raye instead turns 15 (again) during this month.MayThe events from the English dub episode 48 occur, including Sailor Mars powering up. She gains a new attack, "Mars Firebird Strike [Fire Soul Bird]," which only appears in two episodes. The events from English dub episode 49 occur, including Sailor Jupiter powering up. She gains a new attack, "Jupiter Thunder Dragon [Supreme Thunder Dragon]," which is only used in this episode. The events from English dub episode 50 occur.JuneThe events from English dub episodes 51-53 occur, including the death of Ann [An] as she protects Alan [Ail] from an attack from the Doom Tree [Makaiju]. Sailor Moon uses her scepter to "purify" the tree, which results in it being reborn as a seedling. The original name of the tree was said to be the "Tree of Life," and with the rebirth of Ann, Alan and Ann departed Earth to try and re-grow the Tree with positive, rather than negative and stolen, energy.Events from English dub episode 54 occur, including the first appearance of Rini [Chibiusa], who has arrived from the 30th century, and the appearance of Rubeus and the other members of the Negamoon [Black Moon] clan, whose goal it is to destroy 30th century "Crystal Tokyo" and capture Rini along with the Silver Crystal.Though it is not explicitly stated, Serena would have turned 16 on the 30th of this month. However, for the same reasons why it would not have been possible for Raye to turn 16 in April, Serena is more likely having her 15th birthday once more here.JulyThe events from English dub episode 55 occur, including the breakup between Serena [Usagi] and Darien [Mamoru].The events from English dub episode 56 occur, including the Sailor Scouts [Senshi] receiving new transformation pens and communicator watches, and Sailor Mercury powering up again, this time with her attack "Shine Aqua Illusion," which initially goes by the name "Mercury Ice Storm Blast."The events from English dub episode 57 occur, including Sailor Mars powering up again, this time with her attack "Mars Celestial Fire Surround [Burning Mandala]."The events from English dub episode 58 occur.AugustThe events from English dub episode 59 occur, including both Sailors Jupiter and Venus powering up. They gain the new attacks "Jupiter Thunderclap Zap [Sparkling Wide Pressure]" and "Venus Love Chain Encircle [Venus Love-Me Chain]."The events from English dub episode 59 and up to Japanese episode 67 occur.Though it is not explicitly stated, Darien [Mamoru] would have had a birthday on the 3rd of this month. Like Raye [Rei] and Serena [Usagi], he likely "lost" a year or had the year 1992 reset for him, meaning he is once again turning 18 years old.SeptemberThe events from English dub episodes 61 and 62 occur.Though it is not explicitly stated, Amy Anderson [Ami Mizuno] would have turned 16 on the 10th of this month. Due to the time reset, however, she more likely turned 15 (again).OctoberThe events from English dub episode 63 occur, including the purifying of Catzi [Koan] using the Silver Crystal. Catzi becomes a normal human, and gets a job selling makeup door-to-door.The events from English dub episode 64 occur, including the purifying of Birdie (Beruche) using the Silver Crystal. Birdie becomes a normal human, and joins her sister selling makeup and living in an apartment in the same city as the Sailor Scouts [Senshi] together. The events from English dub episode 65 occur, including the purifying of both Avery [Calaveras] and Prisma/Prizma [Petz] using the Silver Crystal. Both women become normal humans, and join their sisters opening a makeup business of their own, and living in an apartment together.Though it is not explicitly stated, Mina [Minako] Aino would have turned 16 on the 22nd of this month. Due to the time reset, however, she more likely turned 15 (again).NovemberThe events from English dub episode 66-67 occur, including the death of Rubeus when his spaceship explodes without a way for him to leave it.The events from English dub episode 68 occur, including Sailor Pluto revealing herself to the 20th century Sailor Scouts [Senshi].DecemberThe events from English dub episodes 69-72 occur.Though it is not explicitly stated, Lita [Makoto] Kino would have turned 16 on the 5th of this month. Due to the time reset, however, she more likely turned 15 (again).1994 (1993 v.2)JanuaryThe events from English dub episode 73 occur. The events from the Sailor Moon R Movie: "Promise of the Rose" occur, including the death of Princess Serena [Serenity] when she attempts to divert a parasitic alien-encrusted meteor on a collision course with Earth. In doing so, she shatters the Silver Crystal, which results in her death. The former alien antagonist, Fiore, gives Darien [Mamoru] the nectar from the Flower of Life as a gift which he uses to restore Sailor Moon and the Silver Crystal. The events from English dub episodes 74-79 occur, including the death of Sapphire [Safir] when he learns about the Wiseman's plans to destroy everything, not simply help the Black Moon family destroy Crystal Tokyo and create an alternate timeline. The events from English dub episode 80 occur, including the deaths of both Prince Diamond [Demando] and Wiseman, although Wiseman is "restored to life" by his energy globe. The events from English dub episode 81 occur, including the revelation that the Wiseman is actually the Doom [Death] Phantom. With the help of Tuxedo Mask and the Sailor Scouts, Sailor Moon and Rini [Chibiusa] "Small Lady," and the future Princess Serenity of Crystal Tokyo, each use their own Silver Crystals to destroy him and his Dark [Black] Crystal.Rini [Chibiusa] returns to a peaceful 30th century Crystal Tokyo.March-DecemberThe events of Sailor Moon Super (Sailor Moon S) occur, Japanese episodes 90-127. Notable events of this season include: The girls enter their third and final year of junior high, Year 3/Grade 9, and begin studying for their high school entrance exams.Usagi and the other Senshi turn age 16; Usagi's 16th birthday occurs during the events of Japanese episode 101. She should technically be in high school by this point, since Japanese high schoolers are typically age 15 or 16 when they begin, but Usagi could be an exception since she was born in the summer, and the new school year in Japan typically starts in late March. (See also the note for Sailor Stars.)The events of the Sailor Moon S movie: "Hearts in Ice" occur (December), including Luna's temporary transformation into a human.1995 (1994 v.2)January-FebruaryThe events of Sailor Moon SuperS (Super Senshi, Supers) occur, Japanese episodes 128-166. Of note is the fact that the Sailor Senshi are never shown going to school in Sailor Moon SuperS, but they are shown in episode 146 as attending a summer festival , placing that episode approximately one year after the events of Japanese episode 103. This means that the movie's continuity (see below) does not mesh with the SuperS timing. The events of the Sailor Moon SuperS movie: "Black Dream Hole" occur (February). Certain events in this movie, including the appearance of Sailor Pluto and the attacks that both Sailors Uranus and Neptune utilize place this movie as taking place after the SuperS continuity. However, Pluto's appearance in Stars contradicts the events of this movie, perhaps indicating that it takes place outside of the official canon timeline.Late February-Early MarchThe events of "Ami-chan no Hatsukoi" ("Ami-chan's First Love"), the Sailor Moon SuperS special occur. The timing of this movie (the setting), which aired before the SuperS movie in Japanese theatres, is based on the fact that it takes place during practice high school entrance exams in Japan. These practice exams are typically administered shortly before "the real thing," in early March of the school year prior to beginning high school.Late March-Late OctoberThe events of Sailor Stars occur, Japanese episodes 167-200. Usagi, Minako, Ami, and Makoto all enter high school at Juuban High. Rei continues her education at T.A. Girls School, a private Catholic academy with all grades. In the final episode, Usagi says that she is age 16 and in the first year of high school. This places her in the latter half of the first school year, which easily could be late October. While technically Usagi should be 17, due to the events of SuperS, it's possible that much of "1995" was actually dreamed, and she actually turned 16 in 1994, due to the time reset from Season 1.
Gohan doesn't train Videl in DBGT.
The name of the episode in which Ash enters the Indigo Pokémon League is "All Fired Up" however his first battle in the Indigo Pokémon League is in the episode which is titled "Round One - Begin!"

In season 3, episode 13, Serena and Nate officially begin a relationship. Prior to this, Serena is involved with Nate's married cousin, Tripp, and after a car crash involving the two, Serena is hospitalized. Nate stays with her in the hospital, proving his affection for her. Their relationship is constantly challenged by Serena's efforts to find her father and Jenny's feelings for Nate. They separate at the end of the season because of a photo of Serena and ex-boyfriend Dan posted by Gossip Girl.
