Yes. On January 8, 2013 Nintendo announced the first games for Pokemon's sixth generation, Pokemon X and Pokemon Y, for the Nintendo 3DS. During this announcement 5 Pokemon were revealed: Chespin (the Grass Type Starter), Fennekin (the Fire Type Starter), Froakie (the Water Type Starter), Yveltal (the Dark/Flying Mascot for Pokemon Y), and Xerneas (the Fairy Type Mascot for Pokemon X). This brought the total to 654 Pokemon. Many more Pokemon have been revealed since. Pokemon X and Pokemon Y will be released worldwide on October 12, 2013
