I think she’s lesbian because she really likes Misa. The creators agreed she liked Misa, but in the second movie Rem says that (s)he doesn’t have an gender. But it seems she is a female in the web.

Actually, Obata (the creator) said that Rem 'inherited' Gelus' love for Misa, so therefore....Rem is in love with Misa, which would most likely mean she is either bisexual or a lesbian.

I Feel like rem is either bisexual or a lesbian. Since the creaters of Death Note did say, and i quote "Rem really cared and liked Misa" and Rem said that she would die for misa. Then she did by writing L's real name in the death note because he was going to hurt Amane or worse.

I think Rem really likes Misa in a romantic and she is either a bisexual or a lesbian however (S)he dosent have a gender. But I am not sure of this info so I think she is a female and most likely to be a lesbian.
