That is a matter of personal opinion; gameplay-wise, the two games are completely identical. The only difference is that in each version, you'll find 23 different species that appear only in that version, of which 13 are in the Kanto Dex.
Pokémon obtainable in FireRed and unobtainable in LeafGreen are the Ekans family, the Oddish family, the Psyduck family, the Growlithe family, the Shellder family, the Electabuzz family, the Scyther family, the Wooper family, Murkrow, Qwilfish, Delibird, and Skarmory. Also, any Deoxys in FireRed will always be in its Attack Forme.
Pokémon obtainable in LeafGreen and unobtainable in FireRed are the Sandshrew family, the Vulpix family, the Bellsprout family, the Slowpoke family, the Staryu family, the Magmar family, Pinsir, the Marill family, Misdreavus, Sneasel, the Remoraid family, and Mantine. Also, any Deoxys in LeafGreen will always be in its Defense Forme.
Once again, however, that's the only difference between the two games, so which game is better for you depends solely on which Pokémon you prefer to use.

That's hard to say, they are basically the same game, but they have some different Pokemon that you can't obtain on the other game. FireRed has these:
Ekans
Arbok
Oddish
Gloom
Psyduck
Golduck
Growlithe
Arcanine
Shellder
Electabuzz
Scyther
And LeafGreen has these:
Sandshrew
Sandslash
Vulpix
Ninetales
Bellsprout
Weepinbell
Slowpoke
Slowbro
Staryu
Magmar
Pinsir
i think idk Its a pretty good game with the extension from the original red game by adding the Sevii islands. Its pretty entertaining
It depends on what you like. In each game you can choose from different starters and there are different Pokemon to catch.
Some Pokemon are exclusive to Firered and Leafgreen and some trades are different between the two versions.
Well it's a matter of opinion. Soul Silver has better graphics and Johto AND Kanto, but if you're an oldschool gamer you'd probably like Fire Red or G/S/C more.
you can not reduce evs in leafgreen and firered
You can't go to Johto in Pokemon FireRed or LeafGreen.
no it does not. the games for the ds will have it
Vulpix is an exclusive pokemon to Leafgreen version if you trade one from Leafgreen to Firered you will be able to have it.
I believe firered leafgreen is better then ruby Sapphire because the graphics are better and you are able to play the classic original Pokemon with the first 150. The challeneges and towns are great and the Pokemon are original unlike the newer ones who seem like they were rushed.
