There is no possible way of finding missingno. in Pokemon fire red or leaf green.FYI missingno. is a rare glitch that cannot be triggered by an combination of going places,button mashing or talking to lots of people.However you could possibly hack the game and make a suspected case of a nissing number in the pok'e dex.DON'T listen to anyone but me I've tried ALMOST everything but it's possible to find him.I don't know how and where but I'm gessing the is not flawless so eat your hearts out you fakes!But, I've just caught a missingno. called???????????!.It's now lvl.100.
- Talk to the old man in north Viridian City and watch his demonstration on catching Pokémon.
- Fly to Cinnabar Island.
- Surf to Seafoam Islands.
- Surf along the coastline of the islands and you'll eventually encounter Missingno.
Just to tell you that I don't recommend catching it.

Ok here we go!
1: you need to have leaf green, blue version, gold version, silver version, (the old ones), and or fire red. You need one of these games for GBA to catch missingno. and maybe M if you want to (M is Missingno.'s cousin to let you know)
2: Go to Virdian city (I think that's how you speel that city) Anyway go up all the way till you find a old man. If you talk to him he should ask if you are in a hurry. Say no to his question. (He might only say that when you have not talken to him yet) The old man will show you a demonstartion. He shows you how to catch a Pokemon.
3: (You need fly and surf to do this step) After he finishes fly to Cinnabar Island, then surf on the right side of the island. You should encounter a few other Pokemon and then maybe you will find Missingno or M. (Missingno has 5 forms. 1 is backwards L, 2 is a ghost that looks similar to the ones in lavender town, lost tower, 3 missingno looks like a haunter but not exactly it's hard to explain this form, 4 kabutops fossil (which means it will be the bones of Kabutops its pretty cool!) lastly the 5th form is a aerodactyl fossil.
4: MAKE SURE YOU HAVE SPACE IN YOUR PARTY FOR M AND OR MISSINGNO YOUR GAME WILL FREEZE! You should have Masterballs and Rare candies. I think from what i reaserched... Missingo or M (i don't remember which one) will turn into a certain Pokemon if you give it a rare candy. Here are some warnings about missingo and M.
WARNING:
-After you capture M, the Pokemon will be replaced with a Ditto! If you want that Pokemon too, you also need to have space for it in your party.
-Missingno. is pretty harmless but his cousin M is the one who causes all the glitches .
-M only causes one glitch. When i tried this M was higher than Lv.0 (of course) Lv.156 (I THINK) The only glitch he causes is mess up my hall of fame. It mixes things around and even adds Pokemon that i never owned or never used in the Pokemon league.
-If you catch an M and he is Lv.0 and YOU KEEP HIM THAT WAY he will most likely cause lots of glitches for what i heard. If you give him a rare candy he will evolve into a certain Pokemon (not legendary) and he will be safe
-Lastly, just please make sure that missingno. and m are treated with care and that you are very careful with them. Also... if both are at a safe lv. (Higher than Lv. 0) they will be ok to put in you PC.

You can get misssingno by using an action replay. Use the random encounter cheat and go to Marvelous Bridge. Run around on the bridge until those black circles appear. There is a 50% chance it is a missingno, which will look like a question mark.
catching missingno in pokemon white is impossible without an action replay or other cheat device.
