Your graphic card doesent have any pixelshader (shader model), you have to upgrade your graphic card or upgrade you drivers in ati.com or yours computer website. If you have 256 or 512 in ram you can upgrade it to and it will go smoother in games
No it won't, just old games till 2005 or maybe newer ones had doesent require high specs
Yes depending on what games you want to play. It can run CoD4 and other small graphic demanding games. Don't expect today's games to run well on it or even start up. Try going through games that came out before 2008. And if it lags then put the game settings on the lowest possible and tweak the system settings to improve performance.
No you have to put it to hybernate i belive some of the laptops have that option like my Alienware laptop if you do that it will run the programs while its closed and monitor is off but will run the programs and download. Other than that if your laptop doesnt have that option no
While there are many types of games, board games, card games, video games, and so forth. Computer games AREN'T video games, despite the following reason: n. An electronic or computerized game played by manipulating images on a video display or television screen. This states computerized game, as opposed to the factor in question, computer games. The difference being one is computerized and the other means designed to be played on a computer.Video games are played generally on a console or handheld device, while Computer games are played on a computer. It would seem to me that the above poster is confusing the term "Video games", with "Console games" and possibly not differentiating between "Computer games" and "Personal Computer Games" and is also possibly unclear on the definition of computerized: "Convert to a system that is operated or controlled or processed by computer"A video game is generally defined as "an electronic game that involves human interaction with a user interface to generate visual Feedback on a video device."A video device in this sense is a computer monitor, a TV or a screen on a handheld device. In short, yes, in modern speech, the term computer game is synonymous with video game.
A video game is an electronic game that involves human interaction with a user interface to generate visual feedback on a video device. The word video in"video game" traditionally referred to a cathode ray tube (CRT) display device, but it now implies any type of display device that can produce two or three dimensional images. You can call it as Computer games too.Its just a different way of naming things just like a monitor and screen (both are same).
This is a very vague question but it is a decent card, i had the 6650 and i could run saints row 3 on it on high graphics (1280x1024) if you want to play heavy graphic games as i call them i would get either the Nvidea 680 or the Radeon HD 7780. Hope this helps.
need more info on the graphics card
You'll be able to run the majority of new games at 'High' settings or greater quite comfortably.
these are the games I've played smoothly 1.NFS underground2,most wanted and carbon 2.GTA vice city,3 and san andreas 3.COD modern warfare 4.Counterstrike 5.Bioshock 6.Borderlands part 1
I can tell you that a AMD Athlon is better for games but a Intel Pentium is better for educational purposes. I'l hope you a answer on your question. Regards, Jack
The DirectX 11 can still work perfectly on your ATI Radeon 4850.
The Radeon graphics cards are some of the best available. The card will improve the apperance of your games.
radeon HD 3200 by a huge margin, the Radeon 7000 is an old card from 2001, and no card in its family can touch the hd3200, the Radeon 7000 has 1/4 the pixel fill rate, no vertex shaders, no directx 10 only dirctx 7 which is bad new for new games and watching videos, as well as lower memory bandwith.
If you want the best of the best I suggest the ATI Radeon 5900
Its fps is at about 60fps with lowest config, so, yes.
No you can't play high-end games on high settings, but I think that you can play most of new games in low settings.
It depends what resolution it is capable of. If its native resolution is 1920x1080 or 1920x1200 then no, the HD 5870 is definitely not a waste. Even 1680x1050 resolution is not a waste. It would future proof you and adding another one in crossfire would run any games currently and in the near future very well.
