No, the USB adapter requires drivers which the 360 lacks, regardless of which game. You would have to hack your Xbox to make it remotely possible.

Ps2 version then try having it plugged in correctly and last but not least 4. if all of the above does not satisfy you then get a new controller :) or have the one you own looked at
