Yes, ps3 games are region free. Meaning that all physical BD ps3 games will work in all ps3 consoles. It is up to the game whether or not if offers English subtiltes, very few (if any) imported games have the option of selecting the voice language. Many games release earlier in Japan than in America, or don't release at all in America and vice/versa. Importing is a great way to play a game early, however if you do not understand Japanese then you will miss out on a lot of the story.
all PS3 Products will work where ever you are.
yes ps3 is region free so you can but you cant play a Japanese ps2 or ps1 game on a European ps3

Yes, PS3 games are zone free
I am 90% sure you can because i am living in England (European PS3) and to save moey i bought a few games from America so if you can play American games on a European console i am sure you can play an American game on an Asian console. I think it is the same concept as PSP games which are UMDs (Universal Media Disk).
Yes, all PS3 games are region free, so they can be played on any PS3. However, downloadable content is region specific, so European DLC (downloadable content) is not compatible with an American game.
no
Yes PlayStation 1 and 2 are region locked. This means if you have an American PS2 (or 1) you can only play American games, no European, Japanese, etc. The PS3 and PSP , on the other hand, are region free, this means if you have a European ps3 or psp, you can buy games from japan (if you want) and it will work.
you don't except with a european tv and ps3 for offline play
