Sally Acorn is hated by the new fans who believe shes a "comic book only" character, despite the fact she is canon to the video games as stated officially by Sega on July 13, 2012 at Sonic Boom. She is the character Ricky, from the older Sonic game. Because she is an older character she does not wear clothes (this is highly criticized by fans.) unlike the rest of the females. She is often also mistaken for a "Mary Sue" but this is a common mistake as it should be noted Amy Rose is more often kidnapped by Dr. Eggman. It is disappointing to older fans that Sally is hated by newer fans. This creates a rivalry of "Sonally vs. Sonamy" fans. as far as the canon goes, in the comics she is hated by many villains mainly Fang the Sniper. However in the games she is not hated by anyone in particual.

I don't believe Sonic and Tails have a legit fight about anything in any of the games. However, in the ongoing Sonic the Hedgehog Comic series published by Archie Comics, Sonic and Tails do have a fight, and it's about how Sonic is supporting the Kingdom of Acorn's current rule, and Tails is supporting his own father, Amadeus Prower, who is trying to overthrow the kingdom and replace the government with a democracy.
