I guess it's just a fun game, a lot of people like it.
it could be because you can make your own sim/person, dress them however you want, give them different and interesting styles. different skin colours, different hair colour, even eye colour, so you can make it unique and so it looks beautiful of ugly, scary anything you choose.
different traits:
you can give your sims different traits that suits them best- evil,friendly, family oriented, animal lover( if you have the sims expansion pack.)and even more.
you can make a family and get great jobs and make your sims happy or do the opposite and you can make their life a living hell.
you can have even more fun with the expansion packs like have pets,vampires,sports cars and more items comes with all the packs.

I don't really understand you but there are 3 sims game: The sims,The sims 2 and The sims 3. So maybe sims 2? Or, there have been expansions sims 3 world adventures was first so that could be the second sims 3 game and ambitions was after that so that is the second expansion.
