I have only just brought The Sims 3 after anxiously waiting for a long time. It took about 30 minutes for the game to install and everything seemed fine. It wasn't until about two hours into the game when the game suddenly froze and the screen went black while on live mode. I had to turn the computer off by the button and I re-stared the game. After about five minutes into the game it did exactly the same thing over and over again and I had to keep repeatedly turning it off by the button. I don't know what to do so if you have any suggestions please say something as I adore the Sims and want play on it, so please says something I'm counting on you as i don't know what else to do. I have all the requirements that it says it needs and the computer is a windows xp so if anyone can help please please say something!!!!!

well you might have to get a new computer or uninstall then reinstall Sims 3. sorry
it could be you dont have enough memory :)
The easiest thing to do if Sims 3 is crashing is to take it slow- don't run loads of other programs on you pc/mac/whatever at the same time, also, not clicking so much whilst you playing helps too. If Sims 3 does crash, just go back to your homepage, wait a minute, then try to go back on it. You could try deleting programs you don't need on your computer too.
****-****-****-****-**** That used to be a code, but Electronic Arts (EA) need the money from Sims to keep it running. If you really want Sims 3, ask your parents for it or buy it yourself.
you need to keep using a lot of romantic interactions. eventually you will have the option to propose to your sim.
