Why does minecraft mods make you lag even after i delete the mod?

minecraft mods are written by mod developers, who are not always the greatest coders, so the code is not optimized with minecraft making it slower. Some mod writers focus less on optimizing and more on features or new developing so tell the writers what you think if its too slow. :Poster: Ive, deleted all of my data of minecraft (.minecraft folder) and it still laged, the only thing i kept was my level save and that had some data of the "mods"
