Pokemon usually don't get along in the Daycare if its not the same species (ex. eevee+ditto, hapiny+caterpie, etc.). The Pokemon tend to get along if paired with the same species (Eevee+Eevee, Charizard+Charizard, etc.) They must be opposite genders for this to happen. The best response is when paired with the same species but was traded from another device (Eevee+traded Eevee, Charizard+traded Charizard, etc.)
