Sorry to break it to you, but your game is likely faulty. Or you've dropped your ds 2 many times! If you think it's the game wipe the back of the chip with a cloth, a microfibing cloth if you can get acess to one. My Pokemon game is on a multi chip from overseas so it is faulty and goes all funny in a certain route so I always save it before hand.
