INTO GLADOS. IF YOU DO YOUR RESERCH THEN U CAN SEE SHE WAS A ADULT IN THE 30S AND STILL ALIVE IN THE 90S FOR THE BRAINMAPPING OF CAROLINE AND PUTTING CAROLINES MIND INTO GLADOS. I THINK ANOTHER PERSON WAS PUT INTO GLADOS.LIKLY A APERTURE EMPLOYEE THAT SAID THE STUFF THE GLADOS SAYS IN THE APERTURE SIENCE INNOVATERS AREA AND THE 60S APERTURE.

GLADOS LOOKS DIFFERENT BECAUSE SHE WAS DESTROYED IN THE FIRST PORTAL GAME.AND NANOBOTS STARTED TO REBUILD GLADOS AND THE FACILITY BEFORE SHUTING DOWN DUE TO LACK OF POWER REQUIRED TO KEEP THE NANOBOTS RUNNING

The way the prototype body got down to the GLaDOS control room is decaying walls and floors that crumble over the decades allowing the body to drop in.

Is portal as good as portal 2?
no, portal, (unlike its newer, more interactive counterpart) is not as good as portal 2, portal only has solving much more difficult tests, and, although they are funny, a few comments by GLaDOS, however, if you are more for solving puzzles instead of having a complex and interesting storyline, go ahead. in my opinion, there is no comparison to Portal 2.
