Why can't I get past the guard at the elite four in Pokemon white He is the guard at the end of victory road. He says I can not enter the elite four at the moment?

Hiya, if you managed to get past the four first but couldnt beat N, you have to go into the healing center right next to the elite four. There you will find a team plasma guard. Talk to him.
