Chuck Woolery and Susan Stafford were the original Host and Hostess of the Daytime show although Edd Bymes hosted 2 pilots. Before Vanna White replaced Susan Stafford there were a couple of temporary hostesses (Vicki McCarty and Summer Bartholomew) After Pat Sajak left in 1989 to host a late night talk show Rolf Benirschke replaced Pat Sajak the next day and continued to host for 6 months until he was replaced by Bob Goen when the show was cancelled and then picked up by CBS. There was also an April's Fool's Day episode where Alex Trebek was the host and Pat Sajak's wife Lesly Brown Sajak was the hostess. Alex Trebek also filled in for Chuck Woolery for a week in 1980
