There is no way to get a Shiny Magikarp 100% of the time.
these different color Pokemon are called shiny Pokemon, each Pokemon has a double that has a different color, like the "yellow magikarp", if you want one, use the old rod over and over again until you have a shiny magikarp.
It depends on luck. when catching a magikarp, you have a 1/8000 chance of shiny.
A golden Margikarp is a shiny margikarp, and as with other shiny Pokemon, there is only a 1/1892 chance of getting a Shiny(golden) magikarp. Breeding a Shiny Gyarados or a Shiny margikarp with another shiny Pokemon THAT CAN BREED WITH GYARADOS/MARGIKARP may have a higher chance of breeding a shiny magikarp. You can also trade the shiny gyarados from Pokemon Gold, Silver, and Crystal version.
The Gold Magikarp is a shiny Magikarp. It evolves into a red Gyarados. There is a 1 in 8912 chance that the Pokemon you encounter is shiny. This can be reduced to 1 in 2048 chance by using the Masuda method. This is basically when you breed a Magikarp with a foreign Ditto. The egg has a 1 in 2048 chance of being shiny.

anywhere where you find a normal shiny. shinies are exacty the same but rarer.
You can't. Either you have to have a GBA game on your Nintendo at the same time as Pokemon pearl, and have caught magikarp on that game, then transfer it through pal park, or trade with someone who has a shiny magikarp.Trust me, I'm a Pokemon expert.

The hatched Pokemon won't always be shiny, but having a shiny parent helps the chances of shininess.
you cant find a shiny magikarp that is the only Pokemon that cant be shiney i own every Pokemon that is shiny no normal legends and starters all them BUT NOT MAGIKARP
Yes, you technically CAN get a shiny magikarp but its not automatic. You have the same chances of getting a shiny magikarp as you do a shiny Pokemon from any other kind of egg. The parents don't automatically make it a shiny magikarp.
The only way to get the evolved form of Magikarp, a shiny, golden Magikarp, is to look for one. You can find one in the lake near Twinleaf.

A shiny pokemon cant be found at a specific spot. They have the same rarity everywhere. Its kind of like magikarp in gen 3. Magikarp appears in water but appears everywhere
You have to find a shiny magikarp or a shiny gyarados. If you catch the magikarp, just evolve it. But catching a shiny Pokemon is EXTREMELY rare. Sorry to burst your bubble
