I recommend gamefly. I pay about 20 bucks a month and at the moment I have 2 $60 games in my possession. I signed up for gamefly and they sent me the 2 $60 games within 2 or 3 days. This is a great service and you can keep the games as long as you want, send them back in the prepaid envelope they send you and then they send you the next game on you list. If you want to keep the game they will sell you it for about 1/3 of store price.
If your interested in signing up with gamefly use my link and you can get a free month membership.

At this time you can not, you must go to the PlayStation Store to buy games
Walmart, Best Buy, Target, these are all good stores for buying ps3 games. However the prices are the same no matter what store the game is at. The only exceptions is used games.
all ps3 games are region free so you can buy them from everywhere. i hope you havnt bought a xbox 360 because they are very unreliable
Yes. all ps3 models play select ps1 titles It depends on which ps3 you buy. I bought the 80 gb and all of them work on it. Good advise buy the 80 gb and put in a bigger hard drive
Yes, with the PS3 you can play games from every region in the world - no games are region 'locked'. If you buy a game from Tokyo it will play on your PS3 at home in the UK or wherever you live! So, you can import games from all over the world and you will still be able to play them everywhere in the world!
