well when you defeat Norman at the house that is next to the 5th gym you speak to the man in it and he gives you serf.Then you learn to your pokemon[water type or normal type pokemon(normal types Pokemon I don't mean all the normal type pokemon)]then you go to the beach near the mauville town(route 118)and surf to the sea to go to the other side...you move straight and then you to the first "corner" and you walk thought the long grass(you can pass them with a bike and you walk straight and then you go inside the building(not the house near the long grass it's much much forwarded you fight teamaqua(or team magma I don't remember)and then the boss of that building will give you an castform only if you have space in your Pokemon and then you fight may/Brendan and you walk straight and finally you go there I hope it helped
