choose the dome fossil in mt moon after beating the pokemaniac. then when you get to cinnabar, give it to the scientist in the last room in the lab. he'll resurrect it into a kabuto! if you choose the helix fossil, the only way to get it is trade with someone else (or restart you're game if you're that desperate!)
