Where do you get a horse in the sims 2?

Thanks to Rebecah you can now get horses on your sims 2 (for PC)! Just do the following things...

1) Visit this website http://www.modthesims.info/member.php?u=829012

2) Scroll half way down the page (actually a bit less!) then click on "Buy Mode"

3) (You should now be in the "Buy Mode" web page). Now, you need to scroll to the bottom and click "next"

4) Somewhere on that page you should come across "Updated 1/4/08 - Ride able Horse with Custom Sounds and Custom Animations" (that's what she's called the horse download package).

5) Click on the link.

6) (Now you should be on the "overview page".) There is no need to scroll anywhere for now. Next you should see a toolbar with the following links "Overview", "Download", "Install Instructions", "Comments" and "Related Pages". (Still can't find what I'm talking about? It's just underneath the "Beck's Creations" title.

Now you have two options...

1.(RECOMMENDED):

- Read the "Overview" first so you know what you're doing and what to expect. Make sure you click on the YouTube links that she has provided.

- After you have done so, click on "Install Instructions" so you know what to do for the installation.

- When you've finished reading, click on "Download". The rest of the instructions are on the website.

2.(COMPUTER GENIUS)

- Maybe you've already done this before and you are doing it a second time! Skip straight to the "download" button and save and extract the file in the right place.

- BEWARE...if you're a first time user and click straight on the "download" button you may have problems with the installation.

YOU MAY ALSO NEED TO KNOW...

- You may need to make an account on this website, it's free! Just make sure you have an email address.

- Backup your Sims game. You never know what may go wrong with the installation. Unsure about how? The instructions are on the website under "Installation Instructions". There are many options to how you would like to do this. If you are going to backup onto a CD, keep it in a very safe place. You don't want to loose your sims do you?

Yes, you can download horses from http://www.thesims2.ea.com but you must have The Sims 2 Pets Expansion Pack and they aren't real horses. They are actually dogs which have been edited to look like horses. You may also come across some stables which say they have horses on them. Actually, these stables may allow content to your game which may damage it or cause unwanted conflict. This is what happened to me. I am warning you not to download this!
