Vulpix cannot be found in the wild in firered. you have to trade from leafgreen.
and for a team i find growlithe better and flareon is very useful.
Sorry but you cant get a Vulpix in Pokemon Fire red version, sorry but you cant! you can on the other hand get one in leaf green, so i guess you could trade over. you could always migrate Pokemon from Pokemon Diamond, or Pearl. but that's really all i have to offer, sorry if this isn't of any help. Only Leafgreen version can capture Vulpix under normal conditions. If you want to obtain one in Firered trade a Vulpix from Leafgreen to Firered or you can trade the purified Vulpix from XD Gale of Darkness.

Vulpix can't be found on firered but you can get it in leafgreen on the route east of celadon city catch one then trade it to firered.
