Well you could either buy it from the garden seller person right past the mountain in taverly at that fishing place,or when you rake out the weeds from the areas use the weeds on htat little basket thing. Keep doing this until the option appears that allows you to close it. then you wait and in a long time open it and scoop compost out with bucket. Looooooooooong explaination...or you could just go to the G.E. (Grand Exchange) and buy some compost
If you use regular compost, around 2 hours. Supercompost yields herbs for me after I log off for about an hour and a half and they are full gorwn, I'm level 70 farming and that has worked for me so far.

No word is exactly opposite of "compost". Most object nouns have no opposite except for the combination of "not + (that object)". Not compost is opposite of compost.
There is no need to mix old and new compost. Old compost ,if ready, should be used on its own. New material will take time to rot down to compost.
