Wii speak accessory-
If you own rock band for the wii and have the "wireless adapter" in, take it out, that's the same spot that the wii speak accessory needs to be plugged into.
If not, the correct plug-in is the one on the very top-left corner (when looking directly at the back)
Rockband micrphone-
This accessory must be plugged into the first or second slot of the rock band "wireless adapter"
you need a wii remote for the mic just like the guitar, drums and bass.
Any USB Microphone
Just hook up the microphone's plug into the the back of the Wii and on the World Tour game select vocals. You have to have a separate Wii remote for each instrument... It's annoying because this information isn't written in the instructions. The microphone plugs into the USB port at the top of the back of the console. The unfortunate part is that you need a controller to assign the microphone. That means if you only have 2 controllers, you can only use 2 of the instruments. I sort of see why (so you can assign the characters, etc.), but that shouldn't have been a limitation to use the microphone. You can get any wired microphone like the one from rock band and plug it in in the back of the wii and rock on nub!!!
No, net necessarily. You do need a Wii microphone
The microphone should probably be plugged into the Memory Card slots (in the top of the Wii) or the USB ports. (at the back)

You need a 3rd Wii-mote.
The microphone has a USB connector. There are 2 USB ports on the back of the Wii. Hook the microphone connector into one of the ports. But you need to have a Wii remote on so that you can still select your difficulty level and scroll around. And pressing the A button on the remote will give you star power mode
Any USB Microphone
yes, there are many ways you can talk to people online first connect your wii to the internet buy a Wii Speak microphone in your local game store and download the Wii Speak Channel. Find someone you know and chat
You will need a wii remote for the microphone to navigate menus and activate star power by pressing A or B, but the microphone plugs into the back of the wii console, not the wii remote.

What microphone are you trying to use ? The we sing single or 2 mic pack, made by Logitech is the only mic approved by Nintendo to be 100% compatible with Wii.
