go to the burnt tower in ecruteak city (the tower in the far back left) and go downstairs. walk around until you find a magmar (probobly level 13) it comes with fire punch and ember which will help for sure and magmars attack and defense are very strong. be careful of steelix because he has rock slide though and it could be a 1 shot kill depending on your level. my nagmar was on level 28 and beat jasmine easily.
