Nvidia 8000 series supports shader model 4.0 & directX 10 DirectX 9 comes with shader model 3.0 Heres where you can buy one. A store that sells NEW video cards. Since we are now on DirectX 11 shader model 5 I think. ANY video card made with the past 3 years or so.

Yes probably! Currently Apple is running a promotion where they give away iPod touches when you are a student buying a laptop, probably trying to liquidate their inventory. This ends on September 8. Apple seems to be releasing new products on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and September 9 is a Wednesday, a day after the promotion ends. Apple also ordered a ton of flash memory chips (used for storage on iPods) along with some 5-mega pixel cameras. The iPhones use 3 mega pixel cameras, so the 5 mega pixel ones are obviously for the new iPod touch. Expect it around September 8 through 11!
