When you hit bankruptcy in 'wheel of fortune' why do they take the 'half a car' card away from previous game?

Half a car is not a prize any more than the wild card is a prize. They both are lost if you hit a bankruptcy. If you have either item you do not lose them unless you hit bankruptcy or the time they can be used is past

One of the ways in which points are earned is by answering the Bonus or final puzzle. These Web Site prizes were not included in the count of 250 winners. The Wheel of Fortune site says that they now have over 5 million members as of May 2009 and have given away 2.1 million dollars of prizes to the members of the Wheel Watchers Club.
